By law, all puppies and kittens must be microchipped.
Within NSW we use the NSW Pet Registry, which is operated by The Office of Local Government.
After implanting your pet, the microchip details are submitted to the registry and you are then able to register your pet with your local council.
Within the ACT, all microchips come with lifetime registration with the Australasian Animal Registry (AAR).
For NSW breeders, I recommend to also place your puppies and kittens onto a National database, such as AAR. This is an added safeguard for any animal that goes interstate, so that they are easily identifiable.
I am a NSW Authorised Implanter/Identifier and am also permitted to implant within the ACT.
