I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals, so my life has always revolved around them. We bred & showed dogs, cats, horses, chooks & ducks, as well as having a range of other animals including goats, rabbits, birds and even a pet rat!

Along with the experience of my own animals, my family has previously owned a boarding kennel and cattery and operated an agistment & training facility for horses, alongside a rehabilitation stable for injured horses.

In my late 20's I headed off to the USA for a few years, where I learnt to handle dogs professionally, drove on the 'wrong' side of the road and did some serious miles around the country, at times behind the wheel of a 38ft motorhome, with both our own and clients' dogs on board.

I've been settled back in Australia for 8 years now, and started Darcy Dogs with the aim of providing a quality service with the same high level of care and understanding, that I expect for my own dogs and puppies.
